Frozen Assets Festival 2025 – The Edgewater Hotel
The Frozen Assets Festival will kick off with the 5K Run/Walk, held entirely on the ice in front of The Edgewater. The rest of the day will include family-friendly activities on the ice and The Edgewater Plaza.

Annual frozen lake festival returning to Madison next week
The Frozen Assets Festival is held on Lake Mendota at The Edgewater ever year and will be kicking off this year on Feb. 3 with an opening ceremony for the Ice and Snow Sailing World Championships. The festival is completely free and runs until Feb. 9, with the most events happening on Feb. 8.
